About me

As an educator, child advocate, and neurodivergent parent raising neurodivergent children, I know firsthand how overwhelming and isolating this journey can feel. I once felt lost and misunderstood, unsure how to best support my family. Through guidance from a team of professionals, I gained clarity and confidence—and now I’m dedicated to helping other parents navigate that same path with support and understanding.

Your Kid Belongs Here / Katie Rose Guest Pryal

Your Kid Belongs Here by Katie Rose Guest Pryal is a guide for parents of neurodiverse children, combining personal stories from a neurodivergent mother with research and practical strategies for advocacy, emotional support, and navigating systems like schools. The book promotes a shift from viewing neurodiversity as a deficit to seeing it as a strength, offering advice on managing challenges like meltdowns, fostering special interests, and emphasizing self-care for parents. It's an empathetic resource for parents, educators, and advocates, focusing on building trust, self-advocacy, and creating a more inclusive world.
